Dates (khajoor) are the fruit of the date palm tree, which is grown in many tropical regions of the world. These high in natural sugar and packed with plenty of nutrients. The sugar content of ripe dates is about 80% while the rest consists of protein fiber and other trace elements. These trace elements include boron, magnesium, manganese, iron, and calcium, etc.
